The Challenge
HitSnus launched as a new Shopify store in a highly competitive, advertising-restricted category. Nicotine products cannot be promoted through paid social or Google Ads, meaning organic search is the only scalable acquisition channel available.
Starting with zero domain history, zero content, and zero organic presence in a market dominated by established brands, the only path to growth was building topical authority from the ground up through a disciplined content-first approach.

We identified the full spectrum of search intent within the nicotine pouch category and systematically built content to address each segment: product reviews, strength guides, brand comparisons, and health information.
A high-velocity content programme covered every major query type in the category, establishing HitSnus as a comprehensive resource for nicotine pouch buyers and building the topical authority Google rewards.
Content was structured to appear not just in traditional search results but in AI-led discovery platforms, positioning HitSnus for the emerging shift in how buyers find and research products.
The Results
From a standing start with no organic presence, HitSnus now generates over 700,000 annual impressions. The top article alone has accumulated over 100,000 impressions, and the blog drives 88.5% of all organic traffic.
